The short version

Adtester.ai scores an ad before you spend money on it. To do that we need the ad file and, if you give us one, the landing page URL. If you want the report we need an email address to send it to. That is the whole basis of what we collect.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your ad files with anyone other than the processors listed below who are needed to produce your report.

What we collect

Only what the product actually uses:

  • ·The ad you upload — the video or image file, its filename and its size.
  • ·The landing page URL you paste, and the publicly visible content of that page, which we read the way any visitor would.
  • ·Your email address, so we can send the report.
  • ·If you choose to fill them in at the claim step: your name, phone number, business name, self-reported monthly ad spend band, store URL and any note you write. Every one of these is optional and the score itself does not depend on them.
  • ·Where you arrived from (for example, which ad or campaign), stored in a cookie.
  • ·Standard server request data such as your IP address, which we use for rate limiting so one visitor cannot exhaust the service.

What we do with it

We use it to score your ad, produce your report, email it to you, keep it available in your account, and — if you have asked us to get in touch — to contact you about your results. We also use aggregate results to improve our scoring model.

Improving the model means learning from outcomes across tests. It does not mean showing your ad, your brand or your figures to another customer.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of third-party services to run the product. Each receives only what it needs for its part:

  • ·Anthropic — analyses frames from your ad, your brief and your landing page text to produce the score. This is the core of the product.
  • ·Resend — delivers your report email.
  • ·Railway — hosts the application and its database.
  • ·Meta — if you reached us from a Meta ad, a Meta pixel may record that you visited and that you requested a score, so we can measure and target our own advertising. This is the only tracking of its kind on the site, and no pixel loads unless it is switched on in our configuration.

Cookies

Three, and none of them are advertising cookies we set ourselves:

  • ·A sign-in cookie, so you stay signed in. It is required for an account to work.
  • ·An attribution cookie (adt_attr) recording where you first arrived from. It lasts 90 days, is only written the first time, and holds no personal information.
  • ·Meta pixel cookies, only when the pixel is enabled, and only if you consent where consent is required in your jurisdiction.

How long we keep it

Your uploaded ad file and the frames we extract from it are kept for 30 days after a test finishes, so the dashboard can still show you the creative it scored. After that they are deleted automatically, and a single still frame per creative is kept so your list of tests still has something to show. If our storage runs short we delete the oldest working files sooner.

Your scores, reports and account details are kept while your account is open, because your history is the value of having one. Ask us and we will delete them.

Your choices

Email brendan@socialfiremedia.com and we will give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK, EU or California you have these rights by law; we apply them to everyone regardless.

You can unsubscribe from any email we send. Deleting your account removes your reports and files.

Children

This is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
